COASTER - Destinations
Rely on the COASTER to get you to some of San Diego County's best
destinations. Valid COASTER tickets and monthly passes may be used
within 2 hours to make a free bus, SPRINTER or Trolley transfer. Transfers to the SPRINTER are made at the Oceanside Transit Center. Transfers to
Trolleys can be made at the Old Town Station, Santa Fe Depot and America
Plaza.

FROM SANTA FE DEPOT (Downtown San Diego)
San Diego Airport Connection
Validated COASTER tickets may be used for a free transfer to the Airport Flyer, MTS bus number 992 to San Diego International Airport. Buses depart across from the Santa Fe Depot in downtown San Diego (at the northeast corner of Kettner and Broadway) every 12 to 15 minutes between approximately 5 a.m. and 1 a.m. Buses stop at Lindbergh Field Commuter Terminal, Terminal 1 and Terminal 2. Approximate travel time to the airport is 10 minutes. When using the Airport Flyer to connect back to the COASTER, return fare is $2.25 (pay on the bus). When planning your flight, be sure to check COASTER schedules (trains do not have regular service on Sundays).
Balboa Park & San Diego Zoo
Transfer at Santa Fe Depot to the Blue Line Trolley with a header sign that displays "San Ysidro" (runs every 15 min.). Get off at the Civic Center Station (3rd Ave. & C St.),Walk to Broadway & 3rd Ave., then transfer* to bus 7 or 7B.
Civic Center
Transfer at Santa Fe Depot to the Blue Line Trolley with a header sign that displays "San Ysidro" (runs every 15 min.) or to an Orange Line Trolley with a header that reads "Gillespie Field." Get off at the Civic Center Station (3rd Ave. & C St.). The Civic Center is across the street.
Horton Plaza
Exit station south to Broadway, walk east to the southeast corner of Kettner Blvd. then transfer onto bus route 2, 923, or 992 running east on Broadway.
Little Italy
Transfer to Blue Line Trolley marked "Old Town" and get off at "County Center/Little Italy."
The Maritime Museum, Coronado Ferry and Harbor Excursions
Exit station south to Broadway then walk 2 blocks west to Harbor Drive.
Gaslamp Quarter
Transfer to the Orange Line Trolley signed "Orange Conv. Center/Downtown." Get off Trolley at Gaslamp Quarter Trolley Station. Walk north on 5th Avenue into the Gaslamp Quarter.
Petco Park
Catch the Blue Line Trolley with the header marked "San Ysidro/Tijuana." Or, catch any Orange Line Trolley or the Special Event Trolley from Santa Fe Depot that starts 2 hours before game time or special event. To visit Petco Park, get off at Imperial and 12th Street, then walk west 11/2 blocks to the admission booths. For more information about COASTER Padres service, click here.
San Diego Contemporary Art Museum
Enter museum on north end of Depot.
Seaport Village/Convention Center
Exit station east to Kettner Blvd., cross to America Plaza, then transfer to the Orange Line Trolley marked "Convention Center."
The San Diego Aircraft Carrier Museum (Midway Magic)
Exit station south to Broadway then walk 2 blocks west to Harbor Drive, cross at pedestrian crossing and walk 1 block south.
Tijuana, Mexico
Take the Blue Line Trolley marked "San Ysidro/Tijuana" (departs every 15 minutes). Get off at the last stop, walk up the stairs, across the bridge, and then down the stairs to enter Mexico. Return in time to catch the last scheduled COASTER Monday � Saturday (no regular Sunday service is available). ON RETURN: You will need a photo ID to re-enter the US (non-citizens a valid passport).

FROM OLD TOWN
Fashion Valley and Mission Valley Shopping Centers
Transfer to the Green Line Trolley.
Heritage Park
Walk 1 block south on Congress, then 3 blocks east on Harney to Juan Street.
Kaiser Hospital at Zion
Transfer to the Green Line Trolley and get off at Grantville. Transfer to Bus 13 marked "Kaiser Hospital" or take Route 14 (Fashion Valley or SDSU).
Pacific Beach and Mission Beach
Transfer to Route 8 (to return, use Route 9).
University Towne Center and VA Hospital
Transfer to Bus 30 or Bus 150 marked "UTC."
Qualcomm Stadium
Transfer to the Green Line Trolley and get off at the Stadium station. NCTD does not operate special service for Chargers games. To learn more about BREEZE Express Bus service for Sunday Chargers games, click here.
San Diego State University
Transfer to the Green Line Trolley and disembark at SDSU station.
Sea World and Mission Bay
Transfer to Route 9. (To return, use Route 8).

The Visitor Information Center
Is located just south of the station.

All just a short stroll from the station, stop at the Visitor Center for a free map.
Cedros Design District
(85 shops, boutiques, galleries, home furnishings, restaurants and pubs)
Walk 1 block directly south on Cedros Ave.
Highway 101 Shopping District
Walk south to Lomas Santa Fe Dr., then west to Highway 101, cross at the pedestrian crosswalk and walk north.
San Diego County Fair at Del Mar Fairgrounds (seasonal)
Transfer to the BREEZE shuttle to the fairgrounds that leaves the Solana Beach train station approximately every 20 minutes.
Del Mar Races (seasonal)
Catch the track's free double-decker buses on race days. For more information: www.dmtc.com

FROM ENCINITAS STATION
Encinitas Downtown Area / 200 shops and 35 restaurants
Walk 1/2 block west on E St. to Old Hwy 101.
Moonlight Beach Park
Walk 1 block west on D St. then 1 block north on Old Hwy 101 to Moonlight Plaza. Cross to B St., walk 2 blocks west.
Cottonwood Creek Park
Walk 1 block east on D St., then 1 block north on Vulcan Ave. Cross Encinitas Blvd. and park is on right.
Quail Botanical Gardens
Transfer to BREEZE Bus 309 and get off on Encinitas Blvd. & Quail Gardens Dr. Cross the street and walk north on Quail Gardens Dr. two blocks to entrance.
Self Realization Gardens
Transfer to BREEZE Bus 101 marked "UTC/VA Hospital" and get off at 1st & K and then walk west to the garden's entrance.

Carlsbad Premium Outlets (year round) & Carlsbad Flower Fields (seasonal)
Transfer to BREEZE Bus 321 marked "Palomar College " and get off the bus in front of the Carlsbad Premium Outlets. TO RETURN: catch BREEZE Bus 321 marked "Carlsbad Village Station."
The Carlsbad Seawall
Walk east to State Street, then 1 1/2 blocks south to Carlsbad Village Dr., then 2 blocks west to Carlsbad Blvd., cross at the light and cross again going south, proceed 1 1/2 blocks to begin your walk along the seawall.
Carlsbad Village Faire
Walk 1/2 block south to Grand Avenue, then 1/2 block west to the center. The center is filled with shops,restaurants and a courtyard with a fountain & seating.
Carlsbad-Oceanside Art League Gallery / Closed Mondays
Walk 1/2 block south to Grand Avenue, then 1/2 block west to the Carlsbad Village Faire Shopping Center.
Downtown Carlsbad Village Area / 40 shops and 45 restaurants
Walk east to State St. then start exploring the quaint antique village area.
LEGOLAND
Transfer to BREEZE Bus 321 toward "Palomar College" and get off at the main LEGOLAND bus stop (bus pulls right up to the main entrance).
Visitor Information Center / located inside the historic old train depot
Walk 1 block south (cross Grand Avenue). The original train depot is just a few feet east of the tracks. Maps for the "Historic Carlsbad, a self guided tour" and the "Antique Trail" are available at the Visitors Center.
Witch Creek Winery
Walk 1/2 block south to Grand Avenue then 1 block west to Carlsbad Boulevard. The winery's tasting room is located on the southeast corner.
Westfield Plaza Camino Real
Transfer to BREEZE Bus 324 or 325 eastbound to Costa Serena.

FROM OCEANSIDE TRANSIT CENTER
California Surf Museum
Walk north from the COASTER platform to bus bays, walk 1 block north on Cleveland and cross Mission Ave., then walk 1 1/2 blocks east to Coast Highway (west side), then walk 1 block north.
Oceanside Downtown (25 shops, 10 restaurants & a cinema plaza) - walk north from the COASTER platform to bus bays, walk 1 block north on Cleveland to Mission Ave then east to explore the Downtown area.
Oceanside Municipal Pier and Beaches
Walk under the tracks through the tunnel and proceed 1 block west on Tyson St., then walk north 1-2 blocks on Pacific Street.
Oceanside Museum of Art
Walk north from the COASTER platform to bus bays, walk 1 block north on Cleveland and cross Mission Ave., then walk 1 1/2 blocks east to Coast Highway, cross and walk 1 block north, cross to the north side of Civic Center Dr., and walk 1 block east.
Westfield Plaza Camino Real, Carlsbad
Walk north to the bus bays and transfer onto BREEZE Bus Route 302.
SPRINTER Stations
Transfer to the SPRINTER light rail train to reach destinations east of Oceanside in Vista, San Marcos and Escondido via the SPRINTER's 15 stations.

Carlsbad Village Farmers Market / Wednesdays 2 - 5 pm & Saturdays 9 am - noon
Walk 2 blocks south on State St., then 1 block east on Carlsbad Village Dr. to the northeast corner of Roosevelt St.
Oceanside Farmers Market / Thursdays 9 am - 1 pm; 5 - 9 pm.
Walk from the COASTER platform to the bus bays, walk 1 block north on Cleveland to Mission Ave., then 1 1/2 blocks east to Coast Hwy, cross and walk 1 block north to Civic Center Dr.
