The SPRINTER offers affordable flat fare, same as the BREEZE buses. Monthly passes will be used interchangeably on the BREEZE and SPRINTER. COASTER monthly passes (and Metrolink monthly passes) are also accepted on SPRINTER trains for valid fare. SPRINTER tickets and passes are available for purchase through Ticket Vending Machines at stations and through NCTD's customer service windows at Transit Centers. Day Passes purchased on board BREEZE buses will be accepted as valid fare on SPRINTER trains.

MONTHLY BREEZE/SPRINTER PASSES

Ride all month long for one low price. Monthly passes are good on all BREEZE buses and SPRINTER trains.   $59 $16

Day passes and one-way trips can be purchased from SPRINTER station Ticket Vending Machines. Regular monthly passes can be purchased from SPRINTER station Ticket Vending Machines (available the 16th through the 15th of the month) or NCTD Customer Service windows (available the 25th through the 15th of the month).

For reduced (Senior/Disabled/Medicare) monthly passes, visit Customer Service windows at the Oceanside, Escondido or Vista Transit Centers between the hours of 7:00 am and 7:00 pm or the NCTD main office at 810 Mission Avenue in Oceanside from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. These passes are available the 25th through the 15th of the month.

REDUCED FARES    
     
Seniors   Passengers ages 60 and older get a discounted fare when they show a valid proof of eligibility, such as any one of the following:

- Valid Driver's License
- Medicare Card
- Metropolitan Transit Service (MTS) Photo I.D.
- California Identification Card
- Other I.D. that shows proof of age and a picture

Persons with Disabilities   Passengers get a discounted fare when they show a valid proof of eligibility, such as any one of the following:

- NCTD Reduced Fare I.D. Card
- MTS Senior/Disabled I.D. Card
- Medicare Card

Personal Care Attendants (PCAs)   Ride free on SPRINTER, BREEZE and FAST when accompanying a person with a Paratransit "PCA-Yes" I.D. card. Free fare does not apply to COASTER.

Medicare Recipient   Passengers must show Medicare Card for reduced fare.


Youth   Acceptable forms of I.D. for youth (6 through 18 years of age, inclusive) include a current school or high school photo identification card, other proof of age, MTS Youth identification card or a valid drivers' license.

College Monthly Passes   BREEZE & SPRINTER College Monthly Pass holders should have a valid current College Student ID.
