NCTD has partnered with Google Transit™ trip planning service to bring you step-by-step travel directions from your web browser or mobile phone. You can plan your trip on BREEZE bus routes, SPRINTER or COASTER trains, and plan out all connections to San Diego MTS Bus and Trolley service, Metrolink trains and Amtrak trains.
Simply enter your starting point and end destination, and you'll see the next three departures closest to your starting time, walking directions to each point and any transfers to buses or trains in between. You can plan future trips by selecting a future departure date or time.
NCTD's partnership with the Google Transit™ trip planning service is free and brings passengers more options in transit trip planning.
You can still plan your trip using the existing online trip planner at transit.511.com.
The Google Transit™ trip planning service is offered by Google Maps, the most popular online mapping website in the world, and is free to NCTD. It helps promote public transit to new customers because the "Public Transit" link is shown every time Google Maps shows driving directions within the NCTD service area. |
