Commute With NCTD

Save money, relax, and enjoy a convenient commute to the office with NCTD. COASTER trains travel the 41-mile scenic coastal route north and south with eight stops between Oceanside and San Diego, and weekday trains leave nearly every hour or less. BREEZE fixed-route bus service includes over 150 buses connecting North County with 30 routes running every 30 minutes or less. SPRINTER Hybrid rail runs a 22-mile route east to west covering 15 stations between Escondido and Oceanside along the Highway 78 corridor. Parking is free at most NCTD transit stations, and our trains are equipped with WiFi.

The new COASTER 5-Pack and COASTER 10-Pack provides customers with 5 or 10 individual days of unlimited travel on COASTER. Riders save 40%-50% on the COASTER Regional Day Pass. The 5 and 10 packs are valid on all COASTER zones, and transfers to MTS Trolley.

BREEZE 347

NCTD proposed a reroute to BREEZE 347 to improve access to businesses, recreation, residences, and shopping. The approved proposed route is set to operate along San Marcos Boulevard between Palomar College and Cal State University San Marcos starting April 2, 2023.
