Cyclovia is back in Encinitas on Sunday, May 18! Explore Downtown Encinitas via bike, on foot, or other means of self-powered transportation – free of cars!

Grab your friends and family, bring your bikes and enjoy downtown Encinitas various restaurants, retailers and businesses all along Highway 101.  

Ride Transit

Don’t live in Encinitas? Cyclovia is FREE for everyone and North County Transit – San Diego Railroad (NCTD) has you covered on how to get there! Bikes are allowed on COASTER, SPRINTER, BREEZE, and FLEX.

Ride COASTER to Encinitas Station to the Cyclovia event on Coast Highway 101 from D to J Street. The event is from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. South Coast Highway 101 from D to J Street will be blocked off to cars to allow only cyclists, skaters, and pedestrian access to local businesses on closed streets.

  • COASTER and SPRINTER have designated areas to store your bike while you ride. Please stay with your bike to ensure it does not tip over.
  • Every BREEZE bus has a bike rack capable of handling two bikes. Be sure to tell your driver before loading and unloading a bike.

After Cyclovia

Cyclovia is from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Sunday, May 18. Continue the fun after the event and reach further destinations by boarding your bike on NCTD.

  • Ride BREEZE 101 to Hwy 101 & Chesterfield Drive to Kirtan in the Park yoga and music from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. at Glen Park 2149 Orinda Drive.
  • Ride COASTER or BREEZE 101 to Solana Beach to Belly Up Tavern for live music from The Wooten Brothers at 7 p.m. 
  • Ride BREEZE 304 to Leucadia Bl and Sidonia St for a short bike ride to San Diego Botanic Garden.  
  • Ride BREEZE 304 to Saxony Rd and Leucadia Bl for a short bike ride to Cal Pacific Orchid Farm.
