San Marcos SPRINTER Station

Proposed Features

What’s Next

A request for proposal (RFP) for four Oceanside SPRINTER stations including Coast Highway Station, Melrose Station, Crouch Station and Rancho Del Oro Station, was issued on May 9, 2023. Proposals were received on August 28, 2023, and evaluated by a Source Selection Committee. On May 16, 2024, the NCTD Board authorized negotiations with USA Properties Fund Inc., and Waterford Property Company, a general partnership, for the Melrose Station and S.V.D.P. Management Inc. (Father Joe’s Villages) for the Rancho Del Oro Station.

It is anticipated that the Vista SPRINTER station projects will be brought to the NCTD Board for approval in Fall 2024.
