Oceanside, CA – North County Transit – San Diego Railroad (NCTD) has been awarded with the Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting by the Government Finance Officers Association of the United States and Canada (GFOA) for its annual comprehensive financial report for the fiscal year that ended June 30, 2025.

To maintain the high standards of the program, an impartial panel evaluated the report, which demonstrated a constructive “spirit of full disclosure” to clearly communicate the agency’s financial story and motivate potential users to engage with the report.

GFOA states the Certificate of Achievement is the highest form of recognition in the area of governmental accounting and financial reporting. Attaining this certificate represents a significant accomplishment by a government and its management.
