Please use the following form for Public Records Requests Only.
For any other issues, please fill out the
Contact Us form.
Any requests submitted after business hours (5:00 p.m., M-F) or on a weekend or holiday, will be received on the next business day.
Upon receipt of a public records request, a public agency has ten (10) days to notify the requester of the availability of any disclosable records and/or state any objections to the request; and to provide an estimated date on which the records will be made available.
As the North County Transit District is not a federal agency, the federal Freedom of Information Act does not apply.
Please be specific, including dates, names, locations and the nature of request if possible. Vague or general requests will only delay the process. Please be concise (limit 2,500 characters).
For video requests, it is NCTD’s policy to pull data from its camera systems with a maximum length of four (4) hours of footage per day. Due to camera capacities and manpower, any requests longer than a four (4) hour block will be considered overly burdensome. NCTD will make every effort to work with the requestor to narrow down the request as much as possible.
