Celebrate Juneteenth with NCTD: Ride and Enjoy the San Diego County Fair

Transportation and admission at the lowest rate of the year

Oceanside, CA -The best combined value of the season is here! In celebration of Juneteenth, North County Transit – San Diego Railroad (NCTD) is offering a special promotion with the San Diego County Fair and San Diego Metropolitan Transit System (MTS).

On Thursday, June 19, guests can take advantage of a combined discounted Fair admission and transit pass on NCTD and MTS, in celebration of freedom, culture, and community at one of San Diego’s biggest annual events.

At any NCTD or MTS ticket vending machine or on the PRONTO mobile app, select “Promotional Fares” for a $5 reduction on Fair Tripper totaling only $15 for General Admission tickets and $12 for Youth/Senior/Disabled/Medicare tickets.

Fair Tripper tickets include Fair admission, round-trip transit on NCTD COASTER, SPRINTER, BREEZE, or MTS, and a shuttle to/from the Fairgrounds.

The ADA-accessible shuttle runs approximately every 15 minutes from the Solana Beach COASTER station.

Fair Tripper tickets are only available for same-day sale at ticket vending machines and via the PRONTO mobile app. The Juneteenth “Promotional Fare” can only be purchased on Thursday, June 19.
