Welcome to NCTD+

NCTD+ is an on-demand transit service that provides shared rides within a service zone. The service is available to all riders and uses ADA accessible vans that can seat up to nine passengers.

NCTD+ complements existing public transit and offers convenient first and last mile connections to rail stations and transit centers. NCTD+ is also ideal for short trips in and around your community.

This NCTD+ pilot program will serve the greater San Marcos area including CSUSM, Palomar College, Kaiser Permanente Medical Center, North City, the local business district, and more!

Get Started

Download the free NCTD+ mobile application in the Apple App Store or Google Play.

Next, set up your account in the app, including your preferred payment method. Then, follow the prompts to indicate the number of passengers in your party and if you have a mobility device. From there, choose your preferred pickup and drop-off locations on the map. All trips must start and end within the service zone.

Once you submit a trip request, the app will show the estimated arrival time and the designated pickup point. Typically, passengers can expect pickup within 20 minutes, although this duration may vary based on demand and vehicle availability.

NCTD+ is available 7 days a week from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m.
