Oceanside Transit Center

Through a series of studies, NCTD determined that redevelopment of the Oceanside Transit Center would facilitate bus to rail connectivity for its riders, provide opportunities for enhanced amenities that would improve customer experience and support regional housing goals. Following a robust selection process, NCTD entered into an Exclusive Negotiating Agreement with Toll Brothers, Inc. after determining that its proposal best represented NCTD’s vision for the redevelopment.

What’s Next

The project team is anticipating the Draft Environment Impact Report (DEIR) for the project to be released in Summer 2024.

Construction is anticipated to begin in 2026 and would be phased to avoid any disruption in transit services.
