Transit Advisory for Saturday, January 19

Oceanside, CA—On Saturday, January 19, Amtrak Rail2Rail service will not be in effect. All passengers on Amtrak trains will be required to have a valid Amtrak fare. COASTER and other North County Transit District (NCTD) passes will not be accepted.

Due to historical ridership demand, NCTD will provide two additional COASTER trips on this date only, in addition to normal Saturday service. A southbound COASTER will depart Oceanside Transit Center at 9:00 a.m. and a northbound COASTER will depart Santa Fe Depot at 2:15 p.m.

Passengers are encouraged to purchase their tickets via the NCTD mobile ticketing app, Compass Cloud, where purchases can be made in advance, or on the day of use. In addition, one-way and round-trip COASTER tickets may be purchased at station ticket vending machines on the day of use.
